Parking permits are required for all student parking locations

Parking Permits Required 

Students must have a valid parking permit to park at Fullerton College throughout the semester.

  • Please note: a grace period will be offered during the first two weeks of the summer semester from June 9-June 20,2025. During the two-week grace period, parking permits will not be enforced in student lots only.
  • Parking Permits will be required in the student lots on Monday, June 23, 2025. 

Purchasing Your Permit  

  • Purchasing a parking permit must be completed online through MyGateway.   
  • A temporary parking permit will be sent to your preferred email address within 24 hours of registration.  
  • Verify your mailing address and preferred email address by clicking on the “Update Information” button in the “My Information” widget in MyGateway. Also, check your spam or junk folder for the temporary permit email. 
  • Students must pick up their permanent parking permit before the temporary permit expires. A valid parking permit is required at all times when parking on campus.
  • Motorcycle permits will not be mailed out and must be picked up at the Office of Campus Safety, Building 1500.

Picking Up Your Permit 

Fullerton College students who purchase a Summer 2025 parking permit after March 30, 2025, can pick up their permanent parking permit starting June 9,2025 at theOffice of Campus Safety, Building 1500. 

Important Deadlines

March 25 – March 30, 2025: Students who purchased a parking permit during this period will have a permanent parking permit mailed to their mailing address listed in MyGateway. A temporary parking permit will be emailed to you within 24 hours of registering.

After March 30, 2025:  Permits purchased will not be mailed out and must be picked up at the Campus Safety office. Students should print out the 3 – day temporary parking permit that will be emailed to them within 24 hours of registration. The temporary parking permit must be displayed face up in the vehicle’s driver side, lower left-hand front windshield. Before the temporary parking permit expires, students should report to the Campus Safety office (Building 1500) to pick up their permanent parking permit. Valid photo ID must be provided.

Refunds

  • Parking Permit fees will not be refunded automatically through myGateway
  • Refunds for parking must be requested in person at the Campus Safety Office (1500 Building). Return parking permit with photo ID.

Thank you for visiting the Campus Safety web site. Fullerton College is a beautiful and historic campus centrally located in Fullerton, California. We have a low incidence of crime on campus and enjoy a fine relationship with our local Police Department. We in the Campus Safety Department are dedicated to providing students, staff and visitors with a safe and secure environment to learn work and play. To that end, our officers have received extensive law enforcement training and are committed to providing quality professional service to our campus community.

The Campus Safety Department offers a variety of services to the college community, including; responding to all campus emergencies, assisting with crime and traffic accident reporting, student escorts, unlocking vehicles, restarting vehicles, handling the campus’ lost and found inventory, issuing parking permits, and parking enforcement on campus. The Campus Safety Department has implemented a community-based service philosophy to better serve our campus community. This concept assists in establishing appropriate priorities for enforcement and response to campus calls for services. It is our belief that working in partnership with the entire campus community, we will be able to achieve a safer environment for all.

I think you will also find our educational and support staff to be equally committed to your safety and protection while attending our college. Every member of the campus staff is available to advise and assist students and visitors on issues of safety while attending classes or attending special events.
